Leisure

Situated at the heart of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, the Walton Cottage Hotel is in the centre of one of the most attractive tourism regions of Europe. The Thames Valley between Windsor and Henley offers a wide variety of sights ranging from the monumental to the picturesque.

Recreational activities include boating, golf, riding, and the simple joy of rambling through the welcoming countryside. The grandeur of Windsor Castle and the annual sporting events of Royal Ascot and Henley Royal Regatta bring the whole world to our doorstep, but our greatest treasure is the intricate tapestry of woods, fields, gardens, cottages and mansions, bridges and boathouses, docksides and locks along one of the loveliest stretches of river on earth.

Whether you are visiting on business or pleasure, a walk along the Thames Path is a delight not to be missed.
